Jonathan "DJ WHO" Robinson - Born in Kingston, ON., now resides in Peterborough as a Trent University graduate (WMNST/IDST).
Founder of WWW.THEBESTHIPHOP.COM, an entertainment production company focused on promoting socially conscious urban music and spoken word, DJ WHO regularly contributes to several community initiatives and social justice organizations/causes/events including: The Annual Global Youth Day Conference, The Purple Onion Festival, Trent River-Side Rail Jam, The Justice for Levi Fund and The Peterborough Slam Poetry Collective.
WHO has an interest in photography/film and is currently recording videos for Canadian Spoken Word and Hip-Hop artists to support the visibility of diverse, introspective, political and empowering voices emerging across Canada.

two round slam, no props, costumes, or music, 3 minute 10 second time limit, half-point deduction for every 10-seconds overtime, 5 judges chosen at random from the audience.

To qualify for the final round, you need to compete in at least one slam in the current Peterborough Poetry Slam season. The top-scoring poets in the final round will have the opportunity to represent Peterborough in the 2012 Canadian Festival Of Spoken Word."
